Framed UP

I need new glasses! Big ones, cool, fun. If you know me at all, it takes awhile for me to make decisions. So, instead of trying on 100 pair at my local eye joint, I just said, "screw it"... and ordered these last night at midnight on my phone when I saw them...

Cute, right?? I hope they look good on my face! I have a narrow one. I also hope they are big enough. Buggy me will look somewhat sophisticated or nerdy. Either one is perfect! We'll see... I'll give you a picture once here. I thought, why not, for $19.95 on sale, STEAL! Just need to get my lenses in and donezo. Got em at Anthro. Where else? Duh. AND I got the last pair, sorry.

Look I was going for...
Cute
Mysterious

Nerdy
Sophisticated

Sexy

Edgy
Hmmm, maybe I should have gone bigger and black! Whatta u think?

Momma's Day

8 weeks and counting...I get 12 weeks of maternity leave. It's flying by. I'm so thankful to get all this time with my bebe. Work is overrated. :) Love being home with my littles. Yeah, some day it's hard as hell, some days I can only handle one kid at home; I have zero time for anything, but Roan is growing fast and starting to get on somewhat of a schedule. We're getting there. And when they're sweet, it's so extra awesome! Granted, there are moments I could pull my hair out. Stay at home moms have the hardest and most rewarding job ever!

If I was fortunate enough to stay home I'd probably become a shopaholic! I've seen so many great things while browsing through catalogues in between feedings & laundry, running by stores and eye balling colorful threads on my 'one hour' errands when alone. Glad my body isn't quite back yet. Well, not glad, but you know...a new piece of something always makes you feel better. I'd have spent my credit limit in the five minute browsing trips! Great stuff this season!

I made it into Anthropologie the other week. It was perfect, Roan was asleep in the stroller, Rory was at daycare, I had one hour to shop. I grabbed several cute things and lots of sale items to try on. The second I got into the dressing room my little man started screaming. :( ready to eat...again, really, you just ate? I had no time to indulge. sigh. I'm not one of those people that can buy without trying on.

Mom's day is coming... how cute are the goodies below? As much as I wanted to try on those clothes, some colorful jewelry would feel good too! I should have checked it out while I was at the store.

These days, new stuff AND actually old stuff is like gold. I cannot even find my summer shoes. Basement remodel, moving rooms around, tiny little closets, I have things stuffed in corners, in the garage, in bins, under beds...the joy of bungalow living. :) I need a month and a shopping spree to reorganize my wardrobe. Creating extra space and $ for a new little bean is well worth it though. Love being a mom :)

Happy Mother's Day week!!!

Hmm...I should hold off fall shopping until we get to San Francisco next month. Shopping for shoes there alone makes me so happy! My cousin is also a thrift shop queen in the city. Maybe I'll search for a leather oldie.

40% OFF Everything!

Banana Republic. Run...cute new shipment out! I had to refrain myself from buying anything. :(  I want but I do not need and should not spend. However, I did find Rory this one piece for $10 at The Gap (Also 40% discount). I bought a bigger size so hopefuly she can wear it next summer too...shall see.  I liked the suit I found yesterday, but didn't love it. This color will look great on her! :) AND finally found myself a hat after trying on a gazillian the last month or so. Men's section H&M. Score. $9. Score. Sweet lil' shopping spree at lunch.

See, it happened!

Bathing suit dilemma continued. Kept an H&M suit thinking... it's cute enough, it'll work or maybe I can find another before our beach trip. Yep, this weekend I flashed what felt like hundreds of people at Splashin' SAFARI's little tike area. I tried like hell to get around a boy when flying down a tiny slide with Rory. While also wildly avoiding the submersion of my child, we scraped our knees, gulped some water and I stood up unknowingly with my boob hanging out. Oh yeah, facing all the parents watching their children go down the slides. Maybe a one piece is a better option while acting like a child with my child? Thx little man who took his sweet time off the slide. ;)  It's ok, Rory was laughing. At least it was fun for her!

I'm thinking she and I both need a stylish one piece to keep us covered up a bit at the beach. We are also still on a hat search. Suggestions?

This is kinda sweet for my little bean.
